Who we are
Knya.ai is a product of Nevika Innovations Private Limited, owned and operated by Nevika Innovations Private Limited (the "Data Controller"). This page explains what personal data the Service collects, why, and how it is handled.
What we collect
- Account data: email, name, authentication tokens.
- Profile data: onboarding inputs such as wellness goals, routines and (optionally) cycle baseline.
- Wellness content you create: journals, mood logs, reflections, uploaded documents.
- Voice notes you record for transcription (processed in transit; not retained by us after transcription unless you save the originating message).
- Operational logs needed to run the Service.
Why we process it
- To provide the Service and the AI features you ask for.
- To remember context across sessions and personalise Knya's reflections.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
- To comply with applicable law.
Third-party processors
We rely on the following sub-processors strictly for delivering the Service:
- OpenAI and OpenRouter for AI inference (text, transcription and speech synthesis).
- Object storage and database providers used to host your content.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your content to train third-party models.
Your rights
Subject to your local data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion or portability of your personal data. You can delete your account from settings at any time. To exercise any of these rights write to info@nevika.co — addressed to Nevika Innovations Private Limited.
Retention
Account-linked content is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, your content is deleted from production storage within 30 days, save for items we are required to retain to comply with the law.
Security
Passwords are hashed (bcrypt). API access is authenticated via short-lived signed tokens. Traffic is served over TLS. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Children
Knya.ai is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
